The name HEM gives a subtle nod to the past with the building formerly Tailors Restaurant and also a Gentlemen’s Outfitters further back in time. HEM provides a contemporary twist to this history which weaves our informality and flair into the mix.
Our Story
HEM is a new opening fine dining restaurant in the heart of historic Warwick. Maitre D’ and owner, Seb Hargreaves has a background in hospitality including at Simpsons (Kenilworth), Oscars (Leamington Spa) and Restaurant Sat Bains. He has teamed up with long term friend and colleague, Dan Cavell in the Kitchen - formerly of Tailors Restaurant (Warwick), Hibiscus (Ludlow) and Mallory Court. Seb and Dan’s pedigree in Michelin recognised hospitality matches their ambition to bring back a fine dining offering to the county town, showcasing top quality local ingredients, first class cookery, exceptional service and great value. Their aim is to create an intimate, relaxed, destination restaurant that has sustainability, passion and flair at it’s heart.
